Major update fixes AC Valhalla ‘Stealth’

A major update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla drops on 22 February and promises a vast improvement to Stealth.

Depending on your platform, update sizes will range in size: PC - 15GB, PS5 - 3.6GB, Xbox Series X|S 12.27GB, Xbox One - 9.84GB, PS4 - 7.94GB.

The update, according to Eurogamer, is geared toward preparing for the arrival of the Dawn of Ragnarök expansion which lands on 10 March - which offers a whole lot of gear, abilities and skills along with a massive map and 40-hour campaign!

Stealth fixes, according to the patch notes, include:

  • AI reaction to whistle improved.
  • Players get detected by enemies when using environmental traps.
  • Wild animals detecting Eivor regardless of distance/angle and alerting nearby NPCs.
  • NPCs disengaging from conflicts extremely quickly.
  • Enemy detection cones reducing when using a bow.
  • Monks having difficulty to leave the music crowd stations in the quest Taken (Kidnap Estrid).
