Techland delay Dying Light 2 DLC

Techland have officially announced that they first major story DLC for Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been delayed.

The DLC was meant to drop within the next few months, but it has now been shifted to September.

In a statement, Techland said: "Dear Pilgrims, your feedback always has the highest priority for us, and we want to be honest and transparent with you.

"We will still need a bit more time to develop the first story DLC. It is now planned to be released in September."

The team has been adding a variety of features since launch, including the New Gam Plus mode, as well as a field of view slider for consoles, and co-op improvements, according to Gamespot.

There is also some new content set to drop in June, "Chapter 1: In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner’ – which is a new gameplay chapter that will cover a new progression system, enemies, rewards, missions and bounties. It will also being the in-demand photo mode.

According to the report, Techland will be looking to release Chapter 2 by November, roughly a month after the DLC.

Techland have also pledged to provide support for Dying Light 2 for the next five years, and already signalled that a second story DLC will also be on the cards.
