Remedy confirm remastered Switch version of Alan Wake

It has been officially announced that survival horror hit Alan Wake Remastered will be released on the Nintendo Switch.

The news came from Remedy Creative Director, Sam Lake, who offered an update on Alan Wake 2 and a brand new TV show based on the psychological horror game.

Alan Wake Remastered came out in October 2021, and offered fans on PlayStation consoles the chance to experience the Xbox 360 classic, which first came out in May 2010.

The email to the user read: "I'm happy to confirm that the developers are actively working on resolving the issue in question and re-launching the Dark Souls servers for PC as soon as possible."

Despite announcing that the game would be coming to Nintendo's hybrid console, there was no official release date provided.

There was also no footage of the upcoming sequel, despite Remedy previously promising to show off more around this time.

"Everything is going really well, Lake said in the video message. "A great deal of the game is playable. But we’ve been talking the past couple of months, and we’ve come to a decision that we will not be showing anything big this summer."
