Heavy Rain devs working on new Star Wars game?

Rumours have emerged suggesting that the creators of Sony hits Heavy Rain, and Detroit: Become Human are working on a new Star Wars game.

According to Eurogamer, French video game developer Quantic Dream have been released after their three-game deal with Sony, and have signed a new deal with Disney.

The rumours emerge after EA's exclusivity with LucasFilm fell away, as seen with the announcement of the Star Wars project by Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment studio.

"They've now finished their contract with Sony and will be signing with Disney. It looks like they will be working on a Star Wars game," French YouTuber Gautoz reportedly said in a video, as pointed out by VGC.

This rumour was then amplified by Tom Henderson of DualShockers, who posted an image from Detroit: Become Human, with two lightsabres crossing over it, saying: "A French YouTuber by the name of 'Gautoz' appears to have heard the same on this a couple days ago."

There has been no official comment from any of the parties yet, though if it is true it would be interesting to see what route Quantic Dream will take when working on the immensely popular franchise
