Rocksteady release prank call in build up to Suicide Squad update

It's been a long wait since the announcement of Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but players will get some new info at the upcoming DC Fandome.

The game itself was revealed at the event back in 2020, and after Rocksteady's success with the Batman Arkham series, there is a lot of hype building for their take on the Suicide Squad.

In a build up to the next event on 16 October, the game's Twitter account has been having a little fun, having tweeted out a random phone number on Tuesday.

According to IGN, when calling the number you will get an earful from Amanda Waller, who yells at Harley Quinn for making prank calls.

Waller says, “I know this is you, Harley. I have given you weapons, resources, and full sign-off to execute the Justice League and you’re here spending my time on prank calls? Stop screwing around and take the targets down. Now!”

Following on from the phone number, the official account also tweeted: "Oh, and definitely DON'T text this number (You will receive a text inviting you to opt-in for updates. Standard message & data rates may apply.)"

If you disobey the command and send a text, Waller checks to see if you have A.R.G.U.S clearance and if you don’t, you'll get sent a link where you can choose to received updates from Rocksteady.

With the information available, we know that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be an open-world shooter, and will feature four-player cop-op where you can choose to play as Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang or Deadshot.

Don't worry, you don't have to have friends to play, as you can opt to choose AI compatriots if you are looking to play the game solo.
